Established in 2020, Wirrinyah Conservation Services was developed to support Yagara cultural revival through caring for country. We provided revegetation, weed management and cultural burning services. While the need for this work is still important for us, we have changed the way we work in this space, from a business service delivery model to working on programs which are supported by environmental and caring for country grants.
Services include:
- Weed management (cats claw, lantana, to leucaena etc)
- Revegetation of natural areas
- Building yarning circles or bush tukka gardens
- Cultural burning
